SUMMARY:Shaheedi / Martyrdom Chhotay Sahibzadey
DESCRIPTION:At the end of December\, the Sikh Panth remembers with deep reverence the supreme sacrifice of Sahibzada Zorawar Singh Ji (aged about 9) and Sahibzada Fateh Singh Ji (aged about 6)\, the younger sons of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. In 1705 at Sirhind\, they were imprisoned in the freezing Thanda Burj along with their grandmother Mata Gujri Ji. Despite their tender age\, they refused to abandon their faith when offered wealth and comfort in exchange for conversion. \nThe two Sahibzaade were sentenced to be bricked alive within a wall. Even in the face of unimaginable cruelty\, they stood firm\, embodying the spirit of Sikhi and the courage to uphold truth. Their martyrdom is remembered as one of the most tragic yet inspiring events in Sikh history\, symbolizing innocence\, purity\, and unwavering devotion. \nTheir sacrifice is not only a cornerstone of Sikh heritage but also a universal reminder of the strength of conviction and the resilience of the human spirit. Generations continue to draw inspiration from their bravery\, and every year\, Shaheedi Diwas of the Chhote Sahibzaade is commemorated worldwide with prayers\, kirtan\, and remembrance
